• Why choose us?

Island Hop Hawaii Travel is part of a larger network. In the travel industry, the larger your agency, the better rates you will receive. Our wholesalers do not work with the general public. We work with them, but for you, and are able to create Hawaiian vacation packages and wholesale prices.

You'll notice most of our competitors are online based, meaning you can search for hotels and book packages online. They offer no personalized service or help in decision-making. In fact, it's all up to you. If you forget to read all the fine print, your vacation may end up costing you more. Major online companies fail to mention that most of their taxes do not include Hawaii's hotel tax, which is separate from regular taxes. Hawaii rental car agencies require most drivers to be at least 25 years of age, otherwise, the driver will be charged an under-age fee of nearly double the regular rate. Most online travel sites will only use suppliers that advertise with them. There are many other reputable, long-standing wholesalers who do not pay for advertising, because they are already recognized as reputable wholesalers within the travel agent community.

• Is there a fee for your services?

Island Hop Hawaii Travel does not charge our clients a fee for our services. We are paid from our wholesalers, after you book a package through us for their services. Wholesalers do not work direclty with the general public. We are your missing link for access to bulk air rates and discounted package deals. All we ask of our clients is honesty and commitment to our services, the same qualities you expect of us.

Island Hop Hawaii Travel specializes in Hawaiian vacation packages. Although we are a full service travel agency, we chose to specialize in Hawaii vacations, simply because we know Hawaii best. Most of our agents were born and raised in Hawaii, and they are passionate about sharing what they know about Hawaii with others. We are also Hawaiian cruise specialists

• How did Island Hop Hawaii get started?

Island Hop Hawaii Travel originally started after spending years in the travel industry. Learning the in's and out's of what happens on the island, Island Hop Hawaii decided to reach further and help people plan their vacations before they get here. Island Hop Hawaii started off as a family venture, rooted in the principle that family always comes first. You'll notice that we treat all our clients like family, sharing the "Aloha Spirit." We take the time to get to know you, not just "sell" you a vacation.

• How do I book a vacation?

In order to get started, we ask that all clients complete a vacation quote form. We will get back to you with a free, no-obligation quote. We do not expect our clients to book the first package we offer. In fact, we encourage our clients to ask questions and make changes, as necessary. Purchasing a package too fast may end up costing more in cancellation and re-scheduling fees.


• When should I book my vacation?

When you feel comfortable, but we do advise our clients not to penny-pinch or nickel-and-dime the situation. In travel, time is money. Within a matter of seconds, a wholesaler can sell out of the lowest class of airfare. The next class up can be as much as $100.00-$300.00 more per ticket. Do not play a waiting game with travel. It's better to lock in at a price you can afford than wait for one you really can't afford.
